Tropical Fruit Smoothies
A great breakfast drink or snack, this frothy beverage is a great treat that is easy to make. Kids love it just as much as adults do and it is very tolerant of substitutions. Try coconut milk in place of the milk for a more tropical feel. You can also add some chopped pineapple or strawberries for a more fruity flavor.
1/2 cup chopped mango
1 cup chopped papaya
1 sliced banana
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
2 cups ice cubes
Place all of the ingredients in a large blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately in chilled glasses.
Makes 4 servings.
