Flourless Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream and Raspberries

Flourless Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream and Raspberries

Diet, Schmiet. Some foods are worth breaking New Year's Resolutions - and this cake definitely fits the bill. Delicious, decadent, and drop-dead gorgeous, this cake is one of my favorite go-to recipes whenever I need the perfect finale for a celebratory meal.

Rosemary Orange Green Beans

One of the best side dishes to serve with fish, these mildly flavored green beans make a colorful and fragrant addition to the menu. These beans work as a wonderful side dish with almost any menu, no matter what the main course is. The green beans and sauce can be prepared up to two hours in advance and stored at room temperature. Simply gently reheat and toss well before serving.

1/2 pound green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary leaves
Pinch freshly grated orange zest
Dash of pepper

Steam or boil the green beans until they are crisp-tender. Drain the beans well. While cooking the beans, mix the rest of the ingredients in a small saucepan and warm until the margarine or butter melts. Place the beans on a serving dish and cover with the orange sauce.

Makes 2 Servings.
